{"id":4537,"date":"2025-06-03T10:23:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T08:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nwrc.gov.eg\/?post_type=news&#038;p=4537"},"modified":"2025-08-03T14:07:53","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T12:07:53","slug":"nwrc-holds-199th-board-meeting-discusses-and-reviews-strategic-administrative-research-priorities-and-cww-2025-preparations","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/nwrc.gov.eg\/ar\/news\/nwrc-holds-199th-board-meeting-discusses-and-reviews-strategic-administrative-research-priorities-and-cww-2025-preparations\/","title":{"rendered":"NWRC Holds 199th Board Meeting: Discusses and Reviews Strategic, Administrative, Research Priorities and CWW 2025 Preparations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the 199th Board of Directors meeting of the National Water Research Center (NWRC) was held,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>chaired by Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamady, President of NWRC, with the participation of the esteemed Board members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Deputy Head of the State Council and Head of the Fatwa Department for the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Head of the Irrigation Authority,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vice President of NWRC for Research Planning Affairs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vice President of NWRC for Research Staff Affairs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering \u2013 Cairo University,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Directors of the NWRC\u2019s research institutes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and representatives from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Planning,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Agricultural Research Center,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Finance,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Secretary General of the NWRC, Director of the President\u2019s Technical Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamady opened the meeting by extending warm congratulations to the attendees on the upcoming occasion of Eid Al-Adha, wishing them continued success and prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following that, the Board began discussing several important topics, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reviewing the Scientific Committee&#8217;s recommendations for research staff promotions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussing the appointment memo for new research staff members<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Evaluating preparations for NWRC&#8217;s participation in the 8th Cairo Water Week 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Revising vehicle subscription policies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approving the NWRC\u2019s and its institutes&#8217; enrollment in the Ministry\u2019s Emergency Social and Medical Aid System<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing various financial, administrative, and legal matters related to the NWRC\u2019s operations.
