{"id":4923,"date":"2025-07-16T11:49:23","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T09:49:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nwrc.gov.eg\/?post_type=news&#038;p=4923"},"modified":"2025-08-03T14:09:13","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T12:09:13","slug":"nwrc-president-signs-cooperation-protocol-with-egyptian-high-dam-and-aswan-reservoir-authority-to-enhance-technical-collaboration-and-sustainability","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/nwrc.gov.eg\/ar\/news\/nwrc-president-signs-cooperation-protocol-with-egyptian-high-dam-and-aswan-reservoir-authority-to-enhance-technical-collaboration-and-sustainability\/","title":{"rendered":"NWRC President Signs Cooperation Protocol with Egyptian High Dam and Aswan Reservoir Authority to Enhance Technical Collaboration and Sustainability"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of strengthening research and technical cooperation between the National Water Research Center and the authorities and sectors affiliated with the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, the NWRC organized a signing ceremony on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, for a joint cooperation protocol with the Egyptian High Dam and Aswan Reservoir Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The protocol aims to provide technical consultations, periodic monitoring and evaluation, and the implementation of procedures and recommendations from technical studies related to maintaining the sustainability and efficiency of the High Dam system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamady \u2013 President of the National Water Research Center, and Dr. Mohamed Roshdy \u2013 Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian High Dam and Aswan Reservoir Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signing ceremony was attended by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Aiman El-Saadi \u2013 Vice President for Research Plan Affairs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hashad \u2013 Vice President for Research Staff Affairs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Ihab Khalil \u2013 Head of the High Dam System Department at the NWRC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eng. Mohamed Orabi \u2013 Head of the Central Administration for Research and Toshka<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Alaa Sakr \u2013 Secretary General of the NWRC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Islam Sabry \u2013 Director of the Technical Office of the NWRC\u2019s President in addition to a number of representatives from the Egyptian High Dam and Aswan Reservoir Authority.
