Waleed Haqqi, Head of the Planning Sector<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eng. Ayman Nader, Head of the Irrigation Sector<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdel-Gawad, Head of the Irrigation Development Sector<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eng. Mohamed Omar Makram, from the Minister\u2019s Office<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting addressed the role of NWRC in supporting the study on the digitization of private mesqas, which is being conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture. The initiative aims to fill the existing information gap concerning private mesqas in Egypt, which, unlike the canal and drainage networks that have already been digitized by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation (MWRI), remain largely undocumented in digital form. It is worth noting that having accurate and up-to-date data on downstream irrigation networks (mesqas) is critical for improving water distribution efficiency. Therefore, the project proposes forming survey teams from the General Directorates of Irrigation and Agriculture in the governorates to carry out a comprehensive survey and collect accurate data on private mesqas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped
