Titled &#8220;Hydrological Futures: Seasonal Trends, Flood Risk, and Climate Pressures&#8221;, the session will highlight current scientific advancements and collaborative efforts aimed at improving seasonal forecasting, understanding flood dynamics, and assessing long-term climate impacts on water systems. Drawing on findings from a joint research initiative between Egypt\u2019s Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI), the Nile Water Sector at the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation (MWRI), and Chinese research institutions funded by the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) the session will showcase the development of cutting-edge hydrological models and climate forecasting tools.
