Software and Mathematical Models used by the NWRC's Research Institutes and Units

The software programs and mathematical models are considered one of the basics of work in the research institutes and units affiliate to the National Water Research Center. NWRC enrolls several distinguished professors, experts, and researchers who perform their work efficiently through a wide range of software programs and mathematical models, which include: 8 Mathematical and Hydraulic Models, e.g. HEC-RAS, Hypack, Delfet3D, water quality software like CORMIX, and QUAL2K. 8 Geographic databases and satellite images analysis software programs that include: ArcGIS, and ERDAS Imagine. 9 Groundwater simulation software, e.g. GMS Groundwater Modeling System, VISUAL MODFLOW. 3 Water Resources Management software programs that include RIBASIM. 3 Climatic and Environmental Modelling programs, i.e. SimCLIM for ArcGIS/Climate, and 3 Construction Modelling programs, e.g. Diana software. 2 Hydrological modeling programs, such as (WMS) version 10.1, FREQ-HYFRAN, as well as additional engineering programs such as AQUACHEM, SPSS13, AutoCAD, Civil 3d, and a laboratory information management systems program (LIMS).
