69th WWC BoG Dakar, Senegal

The World Water Council held its 69th Board of Governors meeting during the period 18-19 June 2019 at Dakar, Senegal. Dr. Ayman El-Saadi, Head of NWRC Technical Office, attended the meeting on behalf of NWRC President. The meeting discussed the current workplan 2019-2021 that include: water security, climate change, integrated water resources management, in addition to several other technical issues. Among the agenda items discussed was the WWC sponsorship to the 2nd Cairo Water Week that is planned to take place during the period 20-24 October 2019 in Cairo, Egypt. The Governors agreed to hold the 70th BoG meeting during the period 19-20 October 2019 as a side event of the CWW.
