Visit of President of Mozambique

On his official 2-days visit to Cairo, President of Mozambique, H.E. Mr. Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, visited the National Water Research Center on Sunday 23 June 2019. The visit was attended by H.E. Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt, several high-level personnel, NWRC President, NWRC Vice President for Research Plan, NWRC Vice president for Research Board Affairs and a number of professors and professionals from Central Laboratories for Environmental Monitoring. During the visit, NWRC President gave a brief background on the NWRC and its affiliate institutions. He also talked about the joint cooperation with the African countries, the training courses held by NWRC for Nile Basin Countries, and the bilateral projects held in the African countries, i.e. “Aquatic weed management in landing sites on lakes Kyoga and Albert in Uganda”.
