The 1st Workshop for the project on “Using Remote Sensing Applications in the Calculation and Estimation of Water Needs and Applications to Raise Water Use Efficiency in Irrigation Systems in Al-Bustan Engineering in the West Delta and the Quisna Engineering in the Center Delta†was held On Thursday, February 27th, 2020. The project is funded by the Scientific Research Academy - Science and Technology Fund (STDF), which is implemented by NWRC and represented by the WMRI. During the workshop, the most important research activities carried out by WMRI and irrigation methods were presented, followed by some results on the use of remote sensing techniques as part of the design of a mathematical program to estimate water needs after obtaining the crop composition of different crops with high accuracy using Remote sensing technology.
