Closing Ceremony of the 24th training course on " Hydraulic Engineering in River Basins "

Under the auspices H.E. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Ati, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, the closing ceremony of the 24th training course on " Hydraulic Engineering in River Basins " was organized and hosted by the Regional Training Center during the period December 15, 2019 to March 5, 2020. The course was attended by 20 trainees from the Nile Basin countries, namely Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, the DRC and Egypt. The ceremony was honored in the presence of Governor of Qalyubia in the presence of Prof. Khaled Abdel Hay – NWRC President, NWRC Vice President, Directors of NWRC’s Research institutes , in addition to a group of professors and researchers. The Ministry of Water and Irrigation and the Egyptian Initiative for Development in the Nile Basin Countries - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are providing scholarships to trainees from the Nile Basin countries, and the number of grants offered this year has reached 20. At the end of the closing ceremony, the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, NWRC President, and the Governor awarded graduation certificates to the course participants.
