The National Water Research Center (NWRC) provides its research experience in using the agricultural wastewater in Suez

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, His Excellency the Governor of Suez had a meeting on Thursday, 14/5/ 2020with representatives of the Water Management Research Institute (WMRI) of the National Water Research Center (NWRC), and the representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation to discuss the ways to utilize agricultural wastewater in Suez. The Governor allocated an area of about 12 Feddan for the establishment of a pilot experimental farm with the aim of planting some crops that bear salt water (brackish water). The institute will start immediately preparing the pilot experimental farm by the first of June 2020.
