The National Center for Water Research (NWRC) is characterized by the diversity of standard devices that exist in its institutes and research units. Due to the tremendous scientific and technological advancement, NWRC's management is always seeking to acquire updated standard devices in various disciplines of irrigation, hydraulics, and water sciences to keep up with the growing scientific advancement in these fields and upgrade the scientific and practical research system. The research institutes, affiliate to NWRC, comprise an enormous number of standard devices, including hydraulic and marine meters, 18 of which include a magnetic flow meter, 1.10. Pressure Transducer, a velocity meter in physical models. There are also six groundwater exploration and measurement, including the SAS 4000. The research institutes also have 18 water quality measurement devices monitoring the quality of water in all Egyptian governorates, including a water quality analysis device for various parameters (Model Manta2), and physical water quality meter (CX-401) for field and laboratory use, in addition to three mobile laboratories to perform water quality test on field. Also, the research institutes have 10 hydrographic survey instruments, including Differential GPS, and Trimble GPS, in addition to 13 environmental monitoring devices, including YES AIR plus, Ion Science Tiger, and Casella devices. The institutes also have 8 soil characteristics instruments that include the Proton Magnetometer, 3 Hydrological Measurements Instruments that include: Hydrological Measurements Instruments, as well as 10 Mechanical and Electrical Equipment that include: digital and analog pressures measuring devices within the pipes. In this context, the research institutes also have construction instruments, consisting of Universal Machine, Wide Width Tensile Testing Method, Accelerometers, and Shaking Table.
