NWRC President Participates in Supreme Committee for Shore Licensing Meeting Chaired by Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation: 34 Topics Approved, Including 7 National Projects

Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamady, President of the National Water Research Center, participated in the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Shore Licensing, chaired by Prof. Dr. Hani Sewilam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, and attended by representatives of ministries, governorates, and relevant authorities.

A meeting of the Supreme Committee for Shore Licensing was held, headed by H.E. Prof. Dr. Hani Sewilam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, and attended by representatives of the ministries, governorates, and relevant authorities.

Updates:

– Approval of 34 topics, including 7 national projects.

– Approval of a nuclear power plant project in Dabaa, a project to develop the Corniche shore in Marsa Matrouh, a project to establish a marine pier in Damietta, 2 projects for the Ministry of Petroleum in South Sinai and Suez, and 2 projects for a telecommunications company in South Sinai.

Prof. Sewilam:

– Investors must take the necessary measures to present proposed projects to the Higher Committee for Shore Licensing before commencing any work in the field. – Ensuring that the Higher Committee for Shore Licensing convenes regularly and as quickly as possible to facilitate and support investors and license applicants, while taking into account all environmental considerations.
