As part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of its establishment, Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamady, President of the National Water Research Center (NWRC), participated in a televised interview on the program “Happened in Egypt” aired on Channel Two of Egyptian Television. During the interview, he discussed the Center’s founding and its development over the decades, praising its pioneering role in supporting Egypt’s water resources and irrigation management system.
Prof. Mohamedy also emphasized that the Center continues its efforts toward achieving sustainable development through scientific research and innovation, striving for a better future in water resource management—especially given the growing challenges facing this vital sector.
It is worth noting that this interview is the first installment in a series that will spotlight the research institutes affiliated with the National Water Research Center.
